MATILDA

This is Matilda--a feral cat who's gone from stray, to pet, to dog training kitty.  Ms. Matilda is the real deal!  She is the dog training cat that works where the red-haired girl takes dogs for "workshop training."  There, Matilda cruises the property keeping an eye on all of the dogs, horses, humans, and the like.  I pass her the baton and she takes over in the outside world.

Her appearance is perfect for outdoor dog training--she lays in a pile of leaves and cannot be seen, only presenting herself when the timing is right.  She's also a fierce yet fair disciplinarian.  She lets a dog know right away if they are too pushy with a swat to the snout or a pounce on the head!.  She's seen her fair share of action--her crooked bottom jaw is a badge of honor, and she wants you to know about it!  She's found herself in a dog tussle or two (which I find extremely attractive...a lady who's not afraid of a fight!)  She's more a lioness than a kitty, really, and is not afraid to go back for more.  From what I've heard, Ms. Matilda can hear a dog fight in the distance and will dive into the pile--helping her humans end the madness.  She knows what is most important for everyone: keeping the dogs calm and relaxed and she knows how to make it happen (even if by force);  she's a lady of tough love.  I can't deny that I am a bit smitten with this kitty queen!  She is everything I could want in a woman; a strong, confident, and powerful dog training cat.
